Long time, no blog

I haven't blogged here for almost 2 years, I am a busy mommy of four kids, I have a photography business and honestly havent had time to take care of this little blog here :)
But looking back makes my heart happy, I love all the entries!

I am going to be blogging a 10 day pledge I took, this is mostly for me, so I can go back and look at what I ate everyday.

I have been reading this wonderful blog called 100 Days of Real Food, it is filled with fantastic information, my goal has always been to try and eat as healthy as possible, we rarely eat out, we make all our meals from scratch and I always give my kids fresh fruits and veggies, for as long as I can remember, but there is always room for improvement!!! I do buy snacks, my husband does buy snacks as well and I feel like we can improve so much more!

So after reading their blog I decided to take the 10 DAY PLEDGE, just me, to experiment and I plan on getting my entire family involved :)

I will be checking in here to blog about what I eat everyday :) I hope this will help us improve our lives to even a healthier one :) of course we all want our kids to learn healthy eating habits!

My goal for the next 10 days is to avoid buying any sort of packed snack/food, everything we eat will be 100% organic, fresh and home made :)

I can't wait to see all our new food discoveries!

Delfina K Photography

With the Holiday season coming up I have been extremely busy doing photoshoots every week, this is a very exciting time for me because I get to do what I love over and over, it just gives me so much joy to be able to do what I am passionate about.

I have been having some problems with my Facebook Fan page, unfortunately it had to be deleted and re-created :( so I encourage you to join and like my page :) on there you will see updates on what it going on and what I am doing.

I am working on new recipes and I hope to get back to it as soon as the craziness is over :)

LOVE! to all :)

David Rocco'sTurkey con Funghi Misti: Turkey with Mushroom Medley

Although...I did not have any turkey so I decided to use chicken instead and it turned out absolutely fantastic.
Also I served this dish with a green salad, radish, carrots, cucumber and as a side it was egg noddles with a little bit of drizzled olive oil, salt, pepper and chopped parsley, I topped it off with parmessan cheese of course!

Delicious, fast and simple!
